Big Steps is located in the downtown area of Kalamazoo, Michigan. We are an independent retailer  that  specialize in plus size men and women shoes. We are dedicated to providing a shoe selection in hard to find sizes that are as fashionable as shoes in the most common sizes..

We define hard to find sizes as plus size shoes. Our mission is to put an end to the disappointing, frustrating shoe shopping that this market is use to.

At Big Steps, our customers are able to get the shoe size they need in the brands they want; without having to search the internet for them.  We carry athletic shoes such as Puma and New Balance; along with casual shoes, such as Rockport and Steve Madden. Women brands include Barefoottess, Steve Madden, Puma and New Balance. Mens plus sizes range 13-22 and women 10-up.
